Formed in 2003 Rubicon is a company dedicated to supporting creative professionals working on a digital platform.
We provide a friendly, approachable and impartial hub for the creative professionals’ needs: no matter how small or technically complex, Mac or Wintel. Whether it be the supply of goods and services, ongoing support or tailored solutions relevant to your business requirements, we can help.
Over three quarters of our customers are small to medium businesses using the Apple platform. Our base is in Reading, the heart of the UK’s technology region, but our reach is nationwide.
In the past six years our customers have found us by word of mouth and recommendation alone but our business has increased by over 140%. We are told this is a direct result of our practical and realistic approach to IT, our ability to own a problem and get a job done.
We’re also nice people who are easy to talk to and want to help!

We recently embarked on a complete studio upgrade and we the new Macs and upgrades for existing Macs from Rubicon and we are very pleased with the service we received from them. They came to see us before we confirmed the order and carried out a pre-order survey. They produced a very comprehensive statement of works detailing what user was getting what Mac including versions of applications. This was signed off by the users before we placed the order and delivery was very quick and arrived within a few days of placing the order. The engineer was onsite for several days to install and setup the new Macs and carry out the upgrades. He went beyond the call of duty and spend a lot of time with the users to make sure every issue was sorted and the users were happy.

Just a quick note to say thanks for all the fantastic support that Rubicon provides. Your engineer has just left after a long hard session trying to set up my Akzo PC, as well as resolving some software and hardware issues with the Mac. As always, nothing is too much trouble and they won’t leave until everything is working and I am happy. I have had Mac’s for over 20 years now and have never had such a good support company before. You may recall that when Rubicon took over my account, most of my equipment was not working properly and was crashing on an hourly basis. We had an Epsom Pro printer that had never produced a usable print since we had had it, despite numerous attempts by my previous support company. It took your engineer about 30 minutes to get it working and I have not had a problem with it since. Thanks for everything!
